Arizona Spelling Bee Champions

Jonathan Horton, an 8th Grade student from Gilbert who attends East Valley Christian Home Educators out-spelled 26 other students from across Arizona with the winning word munificence. He represented Arizona at the 80th Annual Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C., May 30 - 31, 2007, where he placed 8th.
