Peggy Grubel

Peggy’s child-centered philosophy helps ensure her success as an educator. She believes strongly that “learning is enhanced when students feel they are part of a community of learners.” Peggy also believes that “true teaching occurs only when the instruction matches exactly the student’s developing understanding.” She becomes a partner with each student on his or her path to success and discovery. “I am comfortable not knowing all the answers….I model this love of learning daily in the classroom, articulating to my students how my questions can lead to new learning.” Peggy currently teaches a multi-age classroom of 3rd and 4th graders at Madison Park School in Phoenix where she was recognized as the Madison School District Teacher of the year in 2000. She earned her both her B.A. Degree and her M.A. Degree from the University of Arizona. She has continued her education at A.S.U. in post-graduate studies. Peggy is a National Board Certified Teacher.
