Class Schedule

September 26, 2009: orientation; getting started on A+ School application and meeting with mentors to develop school-improvement and needs-assessment plans; preparing for change and the future (ISLLC 1, 2 & 3)
October 24, 2009: developing a vision and goals; communicating with and involving stakeholders in decision making; preparing for change and the future (ISLLC 1, 2 & 3)
November 21, 2009: principals of A+ Schools share their experiences and guide participants through the process of applying to become an A+ School (ISLLC 1, 2 & 3)
January 30, 2010: Using data; comprehensive planning (ISLLC 1)
February 27, 2010: creating, developing and maintaining community partnerships; comprehensive planning (ISLLC 4)
March 27, 2010: understanding, responding to and influencing the world around you; advocacy (ISLLC 6)
April 24, 2010: education law; acting with integrity, fairness and in an ethical manner (ISLLC 5)
June 14-16, 2010: Final presentations by PLAA participants - A+ Schools of Excellence applications
June 17, 2010: Graduation

All classes are held at Argosy University, 2233 W. Dunlap Ave., Phoenix 85021. Saturday sessions run from 8:30 to 4:30. Lunch will be provided at all sessions.
