Boeing Leader Appointed to Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF®) Board

PHOENIX, Ariz., June 8, 2023 – The Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF®) is pleased to announce Amy Moore, Director of Apache Domestic Programs, for The Boeing Company, will join the AEF Board of Directors.


Amy Moore is the Director of Apache Domestic Programs at the Boeing Defense, Space and Security site in Mesa, Arizona. The Mesa site is home to the Attack Helicopter programs including the AH-64E Apache and AH-6 Little Bird helicopters and includes Strategic Fabrication Centers that produce electrical and composite sub-assemblies for a number of Boeing programs. Since joining Boeing in 1996, Amy has worked in Engineering, Business Development and International and Domestic Attack Programs. In her present role, she is responsible for leading the modernization, development and production of the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter for the United States Army.


Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University.


Providing programs to support public education in Arizona has been AEF’s mission since it was founded in 1983 by then Superintendent of Public Instruction, Carolyn Warner. AEF is most well-known for programs like the Arizona Teacher of the Year®, A+ School of Excellence®, Arizona Spelling Bee, teachSTEM, Our World, and the Take Your Legislator to School programs.

Moore’s appointment to the AEF Board is for a two-year term.
