Skyler Bean

Skyler Bean joined the AEF team in early 2024 as the AEF® Philanthropy and Outreach Coordinator. Supporting both development and programming, Skyler works closely with the Chief Development Officer, Chief Communications Officer, and Director of Programs to ensure AEF’s programs and services are reaching schools statewide. Skyler attended schools in the Deer Valley Unified District and the Gilbert Public Schools District, and earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both English and History from Arizona State University. Skyler is driven by a passion for education, a commitment that deepened during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. Dedicated to supporting students and educators in the Phoenix Union High School District, he facilitated the transition to and from multimodal learning. Motivated by a desire to align his professional pursuits with his core values, Skyler earned a Master of Arts Degree in Religious Studies with distinction from Arizona State University in 2023. His studies focused on gender, racial, religious, and disability justice, equipping him to support and collaborate with organizations undertaking transformative work in these vital spaces. In his role as a Graduate Research Assistant and Coordinator for the Center for Maghrib Studies at ASU, Skyler orchestrated diverse, multimodal events and designed impactful global brand campaigns.
